What Golf Clubs Does Jon Rahm Use?

Jon Rahm is currently sponsored by Callaway Golf and uses a Callaway driver, woods, irons and an Odyssey putter. He is also using the new Callaway Chrome Soft X golf ball. Rahm joins one of the many PGA Tour staffers on the Callaway roster, which also includes Phil Mickelson and Xander Schauffele.

Rahm had used TaylorMade clubs ever since turning professional back in 2016, however Callaway Golf was able to lure him away and sign him to a multi-year deal in 2021. Rahm first used all Callaway golf clubs back at the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Hawaii in 2021. Rahm was able to win the 2021 US Open and also had three other top-10 finishes in the other Majors and at one point was sitting as the number 1 ranked golfer in the world.

Rahm will hope to continue that success with his Callaway clubs in 2022!

Let’s take a look at each Jon Rahm golf club in more detail.

Driver: Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS

Jon Rahm is currently using the brand new Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS Driver which just got released in early 2022. The Triple Diamond head is a little bit smaller (450cc instead of 460cc) than the other drivers released in the line and is more of the Tour-preferred option.

One of the more interesting things is that Rahm use’s stock options on the driver. He hits the 10.5 degree head all on neutral settings, which allows him to work the ball on either side of the fairway.

The Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS is the lowest spinning driver option from Callaway. It features the brand new Tungsten Speed Cartridge, which places tungsten weight into the driver head. This increases ball speed even on off-center hits. It also provides more forgiveness through high MOI.

Rahm’s driver is equipped with an Aldila Tour Green 75 TX shaft. There is Golf Pride MCC grips on all Jon Rahm golf clubs, in the red and black color option.

Callaway Golf 2022 Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS Driver (Right Hand, Tensei White 65G Shaft, X-Stiff Flex, 9 Degrees Loft)
  • Rogue ST MAX is Callaway’s fastest, most stable driver family ever. This low spin option for better players is the latest version of our TOUR proven Triple Diamond shape. It’s our lowest spin offering, with a compact 450cc head.
  • The groundbreaking new Tungsten Speed Cartridge structure places up to 20 grams low and deep in the driver head. This increases speed on off-center hits and provides more forgiveness through high MOI.
  • Their patented A.I. designed Jailbreak Speed Frame provides stability in the horizontal and torsional direction. Callaway has speed tuned the construction, shaping, and positioning to deliver even more speed across the face.
  • As the industry leader in Artificial Intelligence, Callaway added launch and spin to ball speed in our optimization formula. This new formula lowers spin on the face, allowing us to add forgiveness to the driver.
  • Titanium unibody construction provides stability and lowers center of gravity, while our proprietary Triaxial Carbon crown and sole allow us to save weight. This weight is redistributed to increase forgiveness with high launch and a slight draw bias.

Fairway Woods: Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS (3-wood) & Callaway Epic Speed Sub Zero  (5-wood)

BUY IT NOW (3-Wood)

BUY IT NOW (5-Wood)

When it comes to feel and clubs on the golf course, most golfers on the PGA Tour would agree that fairway woods are the hardest to swap out of your bag. It can be hard to find versatile fairway woods, and that is why you will see some golfers hold on to older models until they find something they really like. Jon Rahm currently does this with his 5-wood that he carries.

Rahm uses the brand new Callaway Rogue ST LS Triple Diamond 3-wood with 15 degrees loft. However, his 5-wood is quite a bit older. He still uses the Callaway Epic Speed Sub Zero 5-wood with 18 degree loft.

With the 3-wood, it is a prototype as Callaway does not currently have a Triple Diamond option available to the public. However, the specs are all generally the same with the brand new Tungsten Speed Cartridge, which is the same technology in the driver. There is also the brand new Jailbreak system which promotes ball speed.

The Callaway Epic Speed fairway woods were released back in 2021, so still fairly new. Rahm has not swapped out for the new Rogue line of fairway woods as of yet. The Epic Speed 5-wood has a great shape and provides loads of distance off the face. It is also a mini version of the Epic Speed driver, which is probably why Rahm likes it so much. The Epic Speed was his primary driver before switching to the new Rogue ST.

Both of Jon Rahm’s fairway woods are equipped with Aldila Tour Green 75 TS shafts and also Golf Pride MCC grips in red/black.

You can buy both Jon Rahm golf clubs below from Amazon worldwide.

Callaway Golf 2022 Rogue ST LS Fairway Wood (Right Hand, Tensei Blue 65G Shaft, Stiff Flex, 3 Wood)
  • Rogue ST LS is Callaway’s longest fairway wood in a compact shape that’s especially suited for better players. An additional forward weight screw provides a low, forward CG. It’s their lowest spinning, most fade capable Rogue ST Fairway Wood.
  • The new A.I.-designed Jailbreak system has been completely redesigned to promote speed and stability. The two Jailbreak batwings are pushed to the perimeter, providing stiffness while allowing the face to flex for high ball speeds.
  • Callaway is introducing the groundbreaking Tungsten Speed Cartridge for the first time in a fairway wood. By incorporating up to 28g of high-density tungsten, the Center of Gravity (CG) is pushed low and forward. The result is lower spin with more speed.
  • They’ve applied an all-new A.I. face optimization to include speed, launch and spin. This unique face pattern is customized for each model and loft in the fairway lineup.
  • The C300 maraging steel is specially treated through a proprietary process for high strength and flexibility, while the Flash Face Cup provides speed and spin consistency across the face.

  • Epic Speed Fairway Woods are engineered to set a new bar for ball speed technologies.
  • Epic ball speeds start with our new Jailbreak A.I. Velocity Blades. Callaway engineers used A.I. to design a completely new Jailbreak system which spreads and angles the Jailbreak blades.
  • Every model and every face in our fairway woods are uniquely designed using advanced A.I. It’s a proven ball speed design that puts an even greater emphasis on center and off-center ball speeds.
  • The A.I. face is forged using a high strength C300 Maraging Steel for speed and spin consistency across the face.
  • The forward Center of Gravity (CG) is combined with a new leading-edge to promote a strong ball flight, outstanding spin robustness and consistent shot shape dispersion.

Irons: Callaway Apex TCB (4-PW)

Jon Rahm has been using the Callaway Apex TCB irons ever since signing with the company back in 2021. These are also the same irons that PGA Tour player Xander Schauffele uses and has used since the 2020 Tour Championship.

Rahm is not, and has never been a traditional blade iron player, which Callaway knew. The Apex TCB irons are more of a cavity back iron and a more natural fit for what Jon Rahm was looking for.

The Apex TCB irons have an extremely soft, forged steel body. The sound of the ball off the face is next to none. Each iron has customized internal tungsten weighting, which provides optimized feel and distance control in each shot. These irons have seen extensive input from many PGA Tour players.

Rahm has his Apex TCB irons equipped with Project X Rifle 6.5 shafts and Golf Pride MCC grips.

Callaway Apex 21 Iron Set (Set of 6 Clubs: 5-PW, Right-Handed, Graphite, Regular), Black
  • Apex is the first forged iron designed with A.I. and it’s engineered to deliver superior performance with iconic feel on every swing. There’s nothing like our best…and that’s Apex.
  • The unique A.I. architecture in each iron creates high ball speeds and increased spin robustness across the face. They’re engineered for impressive distance and pinpoint control.
  • For the first time, we’ve implemented our Tungsten Energy Core into an Apex Iron. With 5x the tungsten of Apex 19, we can precisely position the Center of Gravity to promote outstanding launch throughout the set, and more forgiveness on off-center shots.

Wedges: Callaway Jaws MD5 (60 degree) & Callaway Jaws Forged (52 & 56 degree)

Jon Rahm carries three wedges in his bag, all from the Callaway Jaws model line. He carries a 60 degree Callaway Jaws MD5 wedge, and 52 and 56 degree wedges from the Callaway Jaws Japanese line. Rahm likes to manipulate the face of his wedges depending on what type of shot he is going for.

The Callaway Jaws wedges have full face grooves, giving precise spin and control for every type of shot around the greens. They have a great feel and with variable weight ports, it gives you a more controlled trajectory on each shot.

Rahm used Project X Rifle 6.5 shafts in his wedges, and they are equipped with Golf Pride MCC grips.

Callaway Mack Daddy 5 Jaws Wedge (Platinum Chrome, Right Hand, 56.0 degrees, S-Grind, 10* Bounce, Steel)
  • Due to unprecedented demand across the industry, causing a shortage of shafts and grip, we may need to substitute for an equivalent premium shaft/grip.
  • Precisely shaped by Callaway Chief Designer Roger Cleveland for a beautiful look and extraordinary feel from 8620 mild carbon steel.
  • The new tour-tested w and C grinds are both updated to make it easy to play a wider variety of greenside shots.
  • Head shaping progresses from traditional shaped lob and sand wedges to a compact player preferred design in the gap and pitching wedges for a seamless transition into an iron set.
  • Stock shaft options include true Temper Tour issue 115 (steel) and project x Catalyst 80 (graphite). Stock grip is lambkin's UTX in black/blue.

Putter: Odyssey White Hot OG Rossie S

Lastly, Jon Rahm has been using the Odyssey White Hot OG Rossie S putter. Rahm used a 2-ball in college, so he was already very familiar with the Odyssey brand.

The Odyssey White Hot putters are very popular around the PGA Tour. They include the original White Hot insert, which provides a great feel and sound.

The one interesting thing about Jon Rahm’s putter is he doesn’t have any sort of alignment lines on the top of his putter. He keeps is completely free of lines and it is all one chrome finish.

Odyssey Golf White Hot OG Putter (Right-Handed, Rossie Slant Neck, Stroke Lab, 34') , Silver
  • Odyssey White Hot OG Putters feature the original White Hot formulation, feel, sound and performance in one exceptional two-part urethane insert.
  • This classic name is synonymous with legendary performance and the unique design properties that Tour players and golfers love.
  • Odyssey engineers have combined a rich silver PVD finish with fine milling on the surfaces.
  • Available in a premium stepless steel shaft or our Tour proven, multi-material Stroke Lab shaft in a new candy apple red.
  • Both of these stock options are precisely fitted with a gray DFX Rubber Grip for a classic look and feel.

What Golf Balls Does Jon Rahm Use?

As soon as Jon Rahm made the switch over to Callaway Golf, his number one concern was finding a golf ball that the company made that fit his game. He was able to find that rather quickly and is currently using the Callaway Chrome Soft X 2022 golf ball

Rahm was already satisfied with his long game. It was the short game around the green that he wanted to control a little better.

The Chrome Soft X is built for golfers with a fast swing and are looking for more consistent spin around the greens. The new Hyper Elastic SoftFast Core ensures increased driver speeds and a soft feel around the green. The ball will explode off the face of the driver for increased distance. This is a great golf ball for all types of golfers!
