What Golf Clubs Does Jon Rahm Use?

Jon Rahm is currently sponsored by Callaway Golf and uses a Callaway driver, woods, irons and an Odyssey putter. He is also using the new Callaway Chrome Soft X golf ball. Rahm joins one of the many PGA Tour staffers on the Callaway roster, which also includes Phil Mickelson and Xander Schauffele.

Rahm had used TaylorMade clubs ever since turning professional back in 2016, however Callaway Golf was able to lure him away and sign him to a multi-year deal in 2021. Rahm first used all Callaway golf clubs back at the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Hawaii in 2021. Rahm was able to win the 2021 US Open and also had three other top-10 finishes in the other Majors and at one point was sitting as the number 1 ranked golfer in the world.

Rahm will hope to continue that success with his Callaway clubs in 2022!

Let’s take a look at each Jon Rahm golf club in more detail.

Driver: Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS

BUY IT NOW

Jon Rahm is currently using the brand new Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS Driver which just got released in early 2022. The Triple Diamond head is a little bit smaller (450cc instead of 460cc) than the other drivers released in the line and is more of the Tour-preferred option.

One of the more interesting things is that Rahm use’s stock options on the driver. He hits the 10.5 degree head all on neutral settings, which allows him to work the ball on either side of the fairway.

The Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS is the lowest spinning driver option from Callaway. It features the brand new Tungsten Speed Cartridge, which places tungsten weight into the driver head. This increases ball speed even on off-center hits. It also provides more forgiveness through high MOI.

Rahm’s driver is equipped with an Aldila Tour Green 75 TX shaft. There is Golf Pride MCC grips on all Jon Rahm golf clubs, in the red and black color option.

Fairway Woods: Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS (3-wood) & Callaway Epic Speed Sub Zero  (5-wood)

BUY IT NOW (3-Wood)

BUY IT NOW (5-Wood)

When it comes to feel and clubs on the golf course, most golfers on the PGA Tour would agree that fairway woods are the hardest to swap out of your bag. It can be hard to find versatile fairway woods, and that is why you will see some golfers hold on to older models until they find something they really like. Jon Rahm currently does this with his 5-wood that he carries.

Rahm uses the brand new Callaway Rogue ST LS Triple Diamond 3-wood with 15 degrees loft. However, his 5-wood is quite a bit older. He still uses the Callaway Epic Speed Sub Zero 5-wood with 18 degree loft.

With the 3-wood, it is a prototype as Callaway does not currently have a Triple Diamond option available to the public. However, the specs are all generally the same with the brand new Tungsten Speed Cartridge, which is the same technology in the driver. There is also the brand new Jailbreak system which promotes ball speed.

The Callaway Epic Speed fairway woods were released back in 2021, so still fairly new. Rahm has not swapped out for the new Rogue line of fairway woods as of yet. The Epic Speed 5-wood has a great shape and provides loads of distance off the face. It is also a mini version of the Epic Speed driver, which is probably why Rahm likes it so much. The Epic Speed was his primary driver before switching to the new Rogue ST.

Both of Jon Rahm’s fairway woods are equipped with Aldila Tour Green 75 TS shafts and also Golf Pride MCC grips in red/black.

Irons: Callaway Apex TCB (4-PW)

BUY IT NOW

Jon Rahm has been using the Callaway Apex TCB irons ever since signing with the company back in 2021. These are also the same irons that PGA Tour player Xander Schauffele uses and has used since the 2020 Tour Championship.

Rahm is not, and has never been a traditional blade iron player, which Callaway knew. The Apex TCB irons are more of a cavity back iron and a more natural fit for what Jon Rahm was looking for.

The Apex TCB irons have an extremely soft, forged steel body. The sound of the ball off the face is next to none. Each iron has customized internal tungsten weighting, which provides optimized feel and distance control in each shot. These irons have seen extensive input from many PGA Tour players.

Rahm has his Apex TCB irons equipped with Project X Rifle 6.5 shafts and Golf Pride MCC grips.

Wedges: Callaway Jaws MD5 (60 degree) & Callaway Jaws Forged (52 & 56 degree)

BUY IT NOW

Jon Rahm carries three wedges in his bag, all from the Callaway Jaws model line. He carries a 60 degree Callaway Jaws MD5 wedge, and 52 and 56 degree wedges from the Callaway Jaws Japanese line. Rahm likes to manipulate the face of his wedges depending on what type of shot he is going for.

The Callaway Jaws wedges have full face grooves, giving precise spin and control for every type of shot around the greens. They have a great feel and with variable weight ports, it gives you a more controlled trajectory on each shot.

Rahm used Project X Rifle 6.5 shafts in his wedges, and they are equipped with Golf Pride MCC grips.

Putter: Odyssey White Hot OG Rossie S

BUY IT NOW

Lastly, Jon Rahm has been using the Odyssey White Hot OG Rossie S putter. Rahm used a 2-ball in college, so he was already very familiar with the Odyssey brand.

The Odyssey White Hot putters are very popular around the PGA Tour. They include the original White Hot insert, which provides a great feel and sound.

The one interesting thing about Jon Rahm’s putter is he doesn’t have any sort of alignment lines on the top of his putter. He keeps is completely free of lines and it is all one chrome finish.

What Golf Balls Does Jon Rahm Use?

BUY IT NOW

As soon as Jon Rahm made the switch over to Callaway Golf, his number one concern was finding a golf ball that the company made that fit his game. He was able to find that rather quickly and is currently using the Callaway Chrome Soft X 2022 golf ball

Rahm was already satisfied with his long game. It was the short game around the green that he wanted to control a little better.

The Chrome Soft X is built for golfers with a fast swing and are looking for more consistent spin around the greens. The new Hyper Elastic SoftFast Core ensures increased driver speeds and a soft feel around the green. The ball will explode off the face of the driver for increased distance. This is a great golf ball for all types of golfers!
