How to Buy
The Mevo Gen 2 can be purchased from the official website, as well as other certified golf simulator stores. I’ve compiled a list of links where you can buy the Mevo below!

Key Features in the Mevo Gen2
Core Technology & Data Tracking
The Mevo Gen 2 is powered by FlightScope’s Fusion Tracking Technology, which is a hybrid system combining 3D Doppler radar with synchronized image processing (camera-based), helping enhance accuracy both indoors and outdoors.
The Mevo Gen 2 tracks 18 essential data points, including key parameters such as vertical launch angle, launch speed, lateral landing, and lateral landing angle. These metrics, along with full swing, chipping, and putting metrics such as carry distance, ball and club speed, launch angles, spin rate, apex height, angle of attack, shot type, and putting direction, provide comprehensive swing and ball flight analysis.
Visualization & Video Features
Augmented Reality Tracer: Real-time trajectory overlays on your swing video (especially on iOS), complete with data overlays, shot tracer visuals, and multiple tracer color options for enhanced shot analysis.

Integrated Video Analysis: Use the built-in camera or your device for automatic video recording of your swings, with shot tracer and data overlay features that allow you to overlay tracked data and annotate using built-in drawing tools in FlightScope’s apps. If your device has a built in screen, you can operate these features directly without needing an external phone or tablet.
What’s Included in the Flightscope Mevo Gen 2 Package?
- Mevo Gen 2 Launch Monitor
- Power supply & USB-C cable
- Carry case
- Quick-start guide
- 100 aluminum stickers for accurate spin measurements
The package also includes a premium simulation bundle, providing lifetime access and lifetime ownership of top golf course simulations and software. This ensures you can enjoy the full value of the simulation features without any recurring fees.
Flightscope Mevo Gen 2 Data Metrics and Accuracy
The FlightScope Mevo Gen 2 is engineered to provide tour-level feedback and comprehensive swing analysis, while remaining compact and portable enough for both home and on-range use. It accurately tracks and analyzes individual golf shots, giving players detailed data to help improve their performance.
Ball Data
- Ball speed
- Launch angle
- Carry distance
- Total distance
- Ball direction (horizontal launch)
- Spin rate (with included metallic spin stickers)
- Apex height
- Smash factor
- Spin axis
Club Data
- Clubhead speed
- Club path
- Face angle
- Angle of attack
- Dynamic loft
- Swing plane (horizontal & vertical)
Putting Data
- Launch direction
- Ball speed
- Total roll distance

The Mevo Gen 2’s metrics, especially angle of attack, spin axis, and swing plane, put it in the same conversation as more expensive launch monitors. The combination of radar and camera tech allows it to provide consistent, repeatable numbers in a variety of lighting and space conditions.
One of my favorite things about Flightscope is that they regularly update their hardware with new data parameters. It happened with the original Mevo and Mevo+ and the team has already promised more data points here in the future too.
Future Upgrades
Flightscope has already announced that more data points are coming to the Mevo Gen 2. Club path and other golf club stats are coming soon to the device, for those golfers who really care about consistent data at a really good price!

Flightscope Mevo Gen 2 Pricing
The FlightScope Mevo Gen 2 has a retail price of around $1,199 USD (approximately $1,599 CAD), positioning it as a mid-tier launch monitor with pro-level features at a competitive cost. One of its standout advantages is that it does not require an ongoing subscription for core functionality, as full ball and club data tracking is included out of the box.
There are no hidden fees for core features, ensuring transparent and upfront pricing.
Optional upgrades, such as advanced data parameters or software add-ons, are available for users who want to enhance their experience. Key differences between the Mevo Gen 2 and other models in the FlightScope lineup include its included software, hardware size, and the range of data tracking capabilities, helping users choose the best fit for their needs.

Subscription Fees
The FlightScope Mevo Gen 2 comes bundled with E6 CONNECT software, including eight free courses and 17 practice ranges, at no additional charge. Access to the complete E6 CONNECT library and premium features requires a paid subscription, which varies depending on the chosen plan.
Other third-party simulator software options (like Awesome Golf, GSPro, or The Golf Club 2019) may have their own one-time purchase or subscription fees, but using the FS Golf and FS Skills native apps is completely free.
Pros of the Flightscope Mevo Gen 2
There are five main reasons I think the Mevo Gen 2 launch monitor is worth considering:
Competitive Price
The Mevo Gen 2 tracks 18 ball, club, and putting parameters, including spin rate, spin axis, club path, face angle, and angle of attack, which are metrics typically reserved for high-end systems like TrackMan or GCQuad, but at a fraction of the price.
Full Game Coverage
Unlike many similarly priced launch monitors, the Mevo Gen 2 includes short game and putting data alongside full swing metrics, making it a well-rounded tool for complete game improvement.
Portable and Space-Friendly
Its compact, vertical design makes it easy to set up at home, on the range, or even on the go. While it does require some space behind the ball, it’s still more adaptable to smaller indoor setups than many large radar-only units.
Multiple Software Options Included
Out of the box, the Mevo Gen 2 works with FS Golf and FS Skills apps for free, plus it includes 8 E6 CONNECT courses and 17 practice ranges without a subscription. It’s also compatible with popular third-party platforms like GSPro, Awesome Golf, and The Golf Club 2019.
Easy Setup and Intuitive Use
With Bluetooth connectivity, a straightforward calibration process, and clear in-app visuals, the Mevo Gen 2 is accessible even to those new to launch monitors.

Cons of the Flightscope Mevo Gen 2
As mentioned earlier, while the Mevo Gen 2 delivers a strong balance of performance and value, there are a few considerations before purchasing:
Space Requirements for Indoor Use
Because it uses radar in combination with cameras, the Mevo Gen 2 requires 8 feet behind the ball and at least 8 feet of ball flight space, meaning many indoor users will need roughly 16 feet total. This can be restrictive for smaller rooms.
Spin Measurement Requires Stickers
To achieve accurate spin data, metallic spin stickers must be applied to the golf ball. While these are included, they need to be replaced over time, adding a small recurring cost and minor setup hassle.
Limited Camera-Only Use
Unlike pure photometric systems, the Mevo Gen 2’s radar component is essential for most metrics, so it’s not ideal for ultra-tight indoor spaces where radar tracking is compromised.
Premium Features Behind Extra Costs
While 8 E6 CONNECT courses are included, accessing the full course library or third-party platforms like GSPro and TGC 2019 requires additional purchases or subscriptions.
No Face Impact Location Data
Unlike some higher-end monitors or upgraded Mevo+ Pro Packages, the Mevo Gen 2 does not currently offer face impact location mapping, which could be a drawback for advanced club fitting.
