E6 CONNECT (Most Polished Software)
E6 CONNECT is a powerful commercial and home golf simulator simulation software. It is available in two different licenses: the professional-grade software package and the Standard License.
This golf sim software is designed for commercial use. You can use it at home to practice golf games, run a commercial golf facility, or use it as a teaching professional. If you have gone to a local indoor golf business in your area, there is a good chance that it uses E6 software.
At home, the Standard License lets you play golf courses worldwide and has enough other game modes and features to keep you occupied.
E6 CONNECT has a wide range of features and supports all leading golf launch monitors on the market. The Standard License package runs around $2,500 upfront. But you will need the $600 extended or $300 standard annual subscription.
This is more expensive than others on this list, but I recommend it if you are serious about improving your golf game at home.
Course Selection
E6 CONNECT consists of 90 courses in total. The courses you can access depend on your subscription and your system.
Compatible Devices
E6 CONNECT is compatible with most leading golf launch monitors, including:
- Garmin Approach R10
- FlightScope Mevo Plus
- Uneekor
- SkyTrak
Key Features

- Lots of settings to customize your experience.
- You can display green elevation and break lines.
- There’s a turn-based competition that accommodates up to 8 players.
Graphics
The course graphics in the E6 software are top-notch and 4K quality. The courses are realistic and highly accurate to their real-life counterparts. There isn’t as big of a selection as TGC, but you don’t have to go searching for god quality.
PC Requirements
The recommended PC requirements include the following:
- An Intel i5 CPU
- 8GB RAM
- Nvidia 1070 video card or equivalent.

The Golf Club 2019 (Highest Number of Courses)
The Golf Club 2019 is one of the best golf simulation software on the market. It has plenty of pre-designed golf courses for home, commercial, and professional use.
Like others on this list, this simulation software lets you hit your shots in real-time using your own golf clubs. After every shot, the simulator files along with the golf ball with amazing graphics to the exact spot the ball ends.
TGC’s biggest advantage is the included golf course designer. You can design your own golf course from scratch using your creative skills in just a few clicks. You can alter terrain, add or delete holes, and move greens, tees, rivers, bunkers, and trees.
The software supports up to 4 players locally and and you can play online too. There’s also a chipping area, putting area, driving range features, and a handful of professionally-designed golf courses.
The Golf Club 2019 runs around € 900.00 EUR.
Course Selection
The Golf Club 2019 consists of 170,000 courses. These courses come in different categories, which impacts the quality as well. Some are premium courses designed by the developers, and others are user-designed and vary in quality.
This list keeps track of all the higher-quality courses to play on indoor golf simulators.
Compatible Devices
The Golf Club 2019 has compatibility with every golf launch monitor on the market. Specifically, the official site boasts compatibility with:
- Uneekor QED
- SkyTrak

- Access a huge course selection library of over 170,000 courses

- Unlimited golf courses
Graphics
I have used TGC2019 to play a ton of official and fanmade courses, and I can attest that the graphics are amazing. The software offers superb lighting, rich contrast, and other effects.
The quality of the grass, trees, and the environment is something other golf simulation software should copy. The sharpness, detail, and clarity of the environments are mind-blowing.
TGC2019 supports a screen resolution of up to 4K Ultra HD.
PC Requirements
You can run The Golf Club 2019 on a PC (Windows) with a minimum system requirement of:
- Windows 7 64-bit

GSPro (Best Graphics)
GSPro is a leading golf simulation software on the market, with ultra-realistic ball physics and amazing 4K graphics. It boasts a massive community whose members regularly contribute. The online community includes a golf tour, allowing you to compete with other players.
GSPro is compatible with FlightScope and Uneekor launch monitors. It offers an OpenAPI interface that you can use to integrate the software with other systems unofficially, like Garmin and SkyTrak.
What sets the GSPro software apart is your ability to participate in online virtual tours and its powerful online community. Additionally, all the courses included are designed by community members using GSPro’s Open Platform Course Designer.
The most basic subscription starts from $250/yr.
Course Selection
GSPro consists of over 280 courses, with more still being added.
Compatible Devices
GSPro is compatible with Uneekor golf simulators and also with the FlightScope Mevo Plus officially. When you buy your license, you will buy a Uneekor or FlightScope license.
GSPro has an OpenAPI license as well, which has compatibility with other launch monitors like the SkyTrak, Garmin R10, and Ernest Sports.
Key Features
- Realistic Ball Physics
- 4K graphics
- Local and online play with up to 8 players.
- 300+ user-created courses
- Compete in the PGA, WEB, and Pro tours.
Graphics
GSPro offers almost the same graphics tier as E6 CONNECT and TGC 2019. This alone is worth the time and money. GSPro also supports 4K.
I also like the sharpness of the trees, foliage, and grasses, not forgetting the texture of the turf. However, the lighting and ball rolls need improvement. The lighting is a little flat, while the ball rolls feel unnatural.
PC Requirements
The minimum PC requirements include the following:
- Windows 7 64-bit
- 4GB of storage space
- GTX 1070 or RX 580 GPU
GSPro Cost
A GSPro license costs $250 per year for a standard subscription and continued access to the platform. However if you cancel your subscription, you lose access to everything.
GSPro offers a subscription + lifetime addon for $550 up front, followed by $250 per year. This extra $300 gives you access to the latest version of the software you downloaded, even if you cancel your subscription.
We don’t recommend the standard subscription at all. Click here to read about and buy GSPro.

Full Swing Golf (Most Polished)
Full Swing Golf is the most realistic golf simulation software I have ever tested. It comes with great graphics, courses, and games.
As the official licensee of the PGA Tour and TPC Network of Courses, this golf simulation software brings you TPC Sawgrass and other favorite TOUR stops. For over 20 years, the company has dedicated its technology and design to delivering realistic golf simulation software to improve your golfing experience.
Full Swing Golf consists of ball tracking metrics and over 100 state-of-the-art courses to help you stay on top of your golf game. The tracking metrics can measure your club and ball data, providing the most accurate real-time results. The software also offers all-around entertainment. You can work out, watch TV, and play games with a simulator.
The biggest drawback to Full Swing is that the software is only compatible with its launch monitor. If you are designing your own home golf simulator from scratch, Full Swing is best in class. If you have half of a system already, look to one of the alternatives below.
Course Selection
Full Swing Golf has over 100 courses, including:
- Pebble Beach
- TPC Southwind
- St. Andrews Jubilee
- The Hay
- Great Northern
Compatible Devices
Full Swing Golf is compatible with the Full Swing Kit Launch Monitor.
Key Features
- Real-time feedback of club and ball data combined.
- Customize your practice by setting a bucket to your preferred distance.
- It offers an official licensee of The PGA Tour and TPC network of courses.
- Visually stunning graphics and quality software
- This technology uses 688 infrared sensors across two tracks to measure ball flight.
Graphics
The graphics in Full Swing Golf are breathtaking. The trees, foliage, and grasses are very realistic. It supports a screen resolution of up to 4K Ultra HD. But the lighting and contrast could be much better. The graphics quality on E6 CONNECT and TGC 2019 is better.
PC Requirements
You need these PC requirements to run this software:
- Windows 8, 8.1, or 10
- Intel Core i5 or equivalent
- 4 GB RAM
- NVidia GTX 670 or AMD 7850
Full Swing Price
The Full Swing software comes included when you purchase any Full Swing golf simulator package. These are some of the most advanced systems today, over $45,000 for one!

FSX 2020 (Best Premium Option)
FSX 2020 is Foresight Sports’ exclusive golf simulation software for commercial golf launch monitors. The software comes with many game modes, opportunities to challenge other players in online tournaments, and skills challenges.
The software lets you view real-time data for a club fitting or practice and has a handful of the world’s most famous golf courses.
You can play in strike, scramble, or match formats. You can even customize the firmness, green speed, and weather. Once connected to a golf launch monitor, you can see launch angle, carry and total distance, ball dispersion, spin, and more.
Overall, FSX 2020 is an excellent golf simulation software that provides instant feedback on shots. The biggest drawback is the overall price for the software and launch monitor.
FSX 2020 runs around $3,000. Foresight Sports offers a free upgrade if you own its older FSX 2018 sim.
Course Selection
There are over 110 available courses on this golf simulation software, including Pebble Beach, Doral Blue Monster, Carnoustie, Spyglass Hill, and The Old Course @ St. Andrews.
Compatible Devices
FSX 2020 is only compatible with launch monitors from Foresight Sports:
- GCHawk
- GCQuad
- GC3
- GC2
Key Features
- FSX 2020 is only available for PC
- The software has three main modes: Play, Complete, and Improve.
- The customization options are extensive.
- You can view tabular summaries of your shot data.
- You can participate in a series of increasingly complex challenges.
Graphics
The FSX 2020 graphics are far from that of The Golf Club 2019 and E6 CONNECT. While I am not condemning the course graphics, I find that some of the textures, like the foliage and trees, are not as impressive as I had expected.
The newly launched FSX Play software also has better graphics and 4K support.
PC Requirements
You will need the following to set up FSX 2020 on a PC:
- A minimum of Windows 7
- An i7 Gen 6 processor
- n NVidia GeForce 1050 Ti or equivalent.
FSX 2020 Price
FSX 2020 costs a one-time fee of $3,000. If you own the original FSX or an FSX Play license, it costs $1,000 to upgrade.
You can buy FSX 2020 right here.

WGT Golf (Best Free Simulator Software)
Released in 2008, World Golf Tour (WGT) Golf is both a golf simulation software and a virtual golf game. It comes with many famous courses, including Harbor Town, Bethpage Black, St Andrews, Congressional, and many others.
WGT boasts excellent features alongside fantastic golf courses. WGT Golf offers a practical range, closest-to-the-pin, and stroke play. Connecting to a golf launch monitor lets you view ball data like speed, distance, launch, and spin rate in real-time.
Aside from pin locations, green speed, and speed, WGT Golf doesn’t offer much when it comes to customization. The software includes over 20 world-famous golf courses, a Pro Shop with upgraded virtual golf balls and clubs, head-to-head multiplayer game mode, and many country clubs.
One of the biggest advantages to WGT Golf is that it is completely free to play. You do need WGT credits to buy virtual equipment to progress in the game, but that is completely optional.
Course Selection
WGT Golf has over 20 real life courses. Each course is recreated to be very accurate to real life.
Compatible Devices
WGT Golf is compatible with SkyTrak.
It’s also available on any PC, Mac, Android, or iOS device.
Key Features
- WGT Golf features game modes: practice range, closest-to-the-pin challenges, and stroke play.
- You can view lots of game and ball data
- It supports up to 4 players at once.
- The courses are actual real courses.
Graphics
Compared to others on this list, the graphics in WGT Golf are lacking. However, the game has seen improvement since it became compatible with SkyTrak.
The other problem with this game is that it needs more camera features, including camera angles and hole flyovers. If you are looking for free though, WGT Golf is an easy option.
PC Requirements
You will need the following PC requirements to run WGT Golf:
- Windows 8 or higher
- Intel Core 2 Duo or equivalent
- 4 GB RAM
- A dedicated GPU
WGT Golf Price
WGT Golf is completely free to download and play. The game does sell bundles, but these are cosmetic upgrades that have no impact on the game.

- Course Practice with (5) 18-hole non-U.S. courses

Graphics
Of all the golf simulation software I have been testing, the Refine software stands out in terms of detail, clarity, and graphics. The graphics are at par with TGC 2019 and E6 CONNECT.
The trees, grasses, and foliage are exceptional. The course accuracy and terrain are some of the best I have seen. However, the company can improve on the bunker textures and ball landings, as these two areas seem weird.
PC Requirements
You will need a PC with a minimum of the following:
- Windows 10 (64-bit)
- GeForce GTX 1060
- Intel i5 8400
- 8GB of RAM
