SkyTrak Launch Monitor and Golf Simulator is a real-time golf practice and play system. This compact unit wirelessly connects to your compatible device and provides immediate shot launch data and ball flight visual feedback immediately after impact.
SkyTrak is a camera-based launch monitor that captures high-speed images of the ball right after you make contact. The images captured are used to measure important stats including ball speed, launch angle, backspin, club speed, sidespin, and side angle to render shot shape and carry, offline, and total distance. The Optoma projectors we carry are known as "Short Throw" projectors, which are the best models for an indoor golf simulator. Short Throw projectors are designed for small and limited spaces, which is how most indoor golf studios are set up. Even if you have plenty of space, the reason Short Throw projectors make sense is to avoid casting a shadow on the screen when you're using the golf simulator.
Lumens define the brightness of the projection. The more Lumens your projector has, the crisper your image will be even with light in the room. All Optoma projectors we sell feature 4000+ Lumens which you would want your projector to have to avoid playing golf in the dark.
You will need to mount the projector so that the lens is approximately 6'8'' away from PerfectBay (4:3 aspect ratio), 7'8" away from PerfectBay Plus (4:3 aspect ratio), and 6'5" away from PerfectBay WIDE (16:9 aspect ratio) for the ideal screen coverage. Please note that there is a 5% error tolerance on a projector lens. Please turn the projector on and make sure you have the desired image size projected onto a screen before mounting the projector permanently to a ceiling.

Returns
SkyTrak's Return Policy: All returns for credit of SkyTrak products must be within 30 days of your original purchase. Returned items must be in the original packaging, include all parts and components, and be free of damage. The amount credited will exclude shipping costs. If a return is accepted that does not meet these guidelines, a 20% restocking fee will apply. All software purchases are non-refundable.
All Simulator Impact Screen sales are final. No returns will be accepted. The screens are considered to be wear and tear products. They are made out of white polyester fabric and can easily be smudged or stained if used or handled improperly.
